Answer:

Let the length be l and breadth be b.

According to question,

l = 4 + 2b. ....(I)

perimeter = 14

2 × (Length + Breadth) = Perimeter

=> 2 × (l + b) = 14

=> 2 × { (4 + 2b) + b } = 14 (from (I))

=> 2 × { 4 + 3b } = 14

=> 8 + 6b = 14

=> 6b = 14 - 8

=> b = 6 ÷ 6

=> b = 1

From (I),

l = 4 + 2 × 1

= 4 + 2

= 6

Length = 6 cm

Breadth = 1 cm
