Hey there!

In a Pythagorean triplet, the three numbers are in the form ( 2m , m² - 1 , m² + 1 )

(i) Given, Smallest number = 24
=> 2m = 24
=> m = 24/2 = 12 .

Other numbers in the triplet ,
m²-1 = 12² - 1 = 143
m²+1 = 145 .

Therefore, the Pythagorean triplet I'd 24 , 143 , 145 .

(ii) middle number = 80

So, m² - 1 = 80
m² = 80 + 1
m² = 81
m = 9 .

Now other number, 2m = 2(9) = 18, m² + 1 = 82 .

Therefore the Pythagorean triplet ( 18 , 80 , 82 )

(iii) Largest number = 65
m² + 1 = 65
m² = 64
m = 8 .

Other numbers , 2m = 2(8) = 16 .
m² - 1 = 63.

Therefore, the Pythagorean triplet ( 16 , 63 , 65 )

Hope helped!
