Answer:

A=(X1,Y1)=(2,-2)

B=(X2,Y2)=(-3,8)

C=(X3,Y3)=(-1,4)

X1=2. X2=(-3). X3=(-1)

Y1=(-2) Y2=8. Y3=4

area of triangle:

1/2 [ X1 (y2-y3) + X2 (y3-y1) + X3 (y1-y2) ]

1/2 [ 2 (8-4) + (-3) (4-(-2)) + (-1) (-2-8) ]

1/2 [ 2(4) -3(6) -1(-10) ]

1/2 [ 8-18+10]

1/2 [ 18-18 ]

1/2 [0]

0

therefore the given points are collinear as the area is 0

i think this is the answer............I hope this helps u
