b) (-3) of (1003)
c) 44 multiply (50-10)

= 996 × (-35) + 996 × (-65)

= 996 × [(-35) + (-65)]

= 996 × (-100) = -99600

Answer: -99600

b) (-3) of 1003

= (-3) × 1003

= (-3) × (1000 + 3)

= [(-3) × 1000] + [(-3) × 3]

= (-3000) + (-9) = -3009

Answer: -3009

= (44 × 50) - (44 × 10)
