Correct Question:

The area of the four walls in a room is 120 m. The length is twice the breadth. If the height of the room is 4 m, find the area of the floor.

Solution:

Area of four walls = 2(l + b)h

=> 120 = 2 (3b) 4

=> b = 5 m and l = 10 m

Therefore area of the floor = lb

i.e The area of the floor is 50
