Step-by-step explanation:

Let the speed of one train be x km/h

Then speed of another train will be x + 10km/h.

Given,

Time is 2 hours

We know,

speed = distance × time

distance = speed / time

So, distance covered by first train

= x/2

Distance covered by second train

= (x+10)/2

Distance between them after two hours = 25km

So, if distance between the station is 250km and they cover some distance in which 25km is left,

According to question,

x/2 + (x + 10)/2 + 25 = 250

(x + x + 10 + 50)/2 = 250

2x + 60 = 500

2x = 440

x = 220km/h

Hence the speed of one train is 220km/h , while speed of another train is 230km/h
