Preparing Frequency Distribution Table For The Given Data:

  • Given, one of the class is 160-164.
  • Lowest value is 147 and the highest value is 163.
  • Highest value - lowest value = 163 - 147 = 16
  • Class interval = 164 - 160 = 4.
  • Number of classes = 16/4 = 4

    Class           Frequency

  145 - 149                4

  150 - 154                8

  155 - 159                11

   160 - 164                5

Total                         28

Note: In the question 30 students were mentioned but observations are only 28. I omitted the last observation i.e, 15 as it is not relevant to the given data.
