half of the breadth = 6÷2 =3

3.length increased by 2cm = 8cm+2cm=10cm

breadth decreased by 2cm = 6cm-2cm=4cm

Area = 10x4

= 40cm2

4. length decrease by 2cm =8cm-2cm=6cm

Area = 6x6

= 36cm2
