Therefore, length= 3x

Perimeter of the rectangle= 48m

ATP

2(3x+x)=48m

2(4x)=48

8x=48

x= 48/8

Therefore,x= 6m

Hence, width of the rectangle= x= 6m

length of the rectangle= 3x= (3x6)m= 18m
