Let a = 4 and b = 5. We have to find c.

We have the area of the triangle,

A = ab sin C / 2

6 = 4 × 5 sin C / 2

sin C = 12 / 20

sin C = 3 / 5

If we assume sin C = c / b = 3 / 5, we get c = 3 units.

If we assume sin C = c / a = 3 / 5, we get c = 12 / 5 units.
