13) The potential Energy of a freely falling object decreases progressively. Does this violate the law
of conservation of Energy? Why?

no because as the potential energy decreases the kinetic energy increases, so net energy will be a constant

Conservation of energy is universally true...

If we neglect other parameters (such as drag force, air resistance....) the mechanical energy will be remains constant i.e. sum of kinetic energy and potential energy, As potential energy dec the it converts into kinetic energy and vice versa...

And if we consider all the resistance parameter then also energy will be conserved because the some part of decreased potential energy will be converted into heat energy i.e. energy of system plus surrounding remains the same as earlier hence, energy will be conserved...
