13. The sum of the digits of a number is 7. The difference between the number and the number
obtained by reversing its digits is 27. What is the number?​

Let the digit at tens place be x and the digit at ones place be y.

Then, number = 10x+y

According to question, x + y = 7

On reversing the digits, number becomes 10y + x

given that (10y + x)-(10x + y)= 27

9y - 9x = 27

y-x = 3

and y+x = 7

on adding both equations,

2y=10

y=5

x=2

Hence the number is 25 or 52
