people invested 15000 and 25000 respectively to start a business. They
ided to share the profits in the ratio of their investments. If their profit is
12000, how much does each get?

15000:25000=3:5 ratio of investments

as in the question the profit is divided in the ratio of investments

3x+5x= 12000

x=1500

substituting x value in 3x and 8x we will get

4500 and 7500

therefore the profit 1st person got is 4500

and 2nd is 7500
