Answer:

area covered by velocity time graph=displacement

distance=16+8=24 metre

for distance we have to add because

distance=|displacement|

{ \huge{ \textbf{Here,}}}

.{ \boxed{ \large{u = 0 \:  {ms}^{ - 1} }}} \\ { \boxed{ \large{v = 4  \: {ms}^{ - 1} }}} \\ { \boxed{ \large{t = 4 \: sec}}} \\

Therefore,

{ \large{ \boxed{ \boxed{a =  \frac{v - u}{t} }}}} =  >  \frac{4 - 0}{4}  =  \frac{4}{4}  =   { \red{1 \: {ms}^{ - 2} }}

Now,

{ \large{ \boxed{ \boxed{s = ut +  \frac{1}{2}  {at}^{2} }}}}  \\  \\ =  > (0 \times 4) +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 1 \times  {4}^{2}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{2}  \times 16 = { \red{8 \: m}}
