13. When a wave travels in a medium, the
displacement of a particle located at distance x at
time t is given by y= a sin (bt-cx) where a, b and c
are constants of the wave. The dimensions of b/c
are same as that of :

Answer:

Y = a•sin(bt-cx)

We know that (bt - cx) is diamensionlass

There fore D.F of bt = M^0L^0T^0

b=T^-1

Similarly D.F of cx =M^0L^0T^0c= L^-1

b/c = T^-1/ L^-1

b/c = L^1T^-1 Is the dimensional formula of speed or velocity.

Hope it helps❤❤
