I am considering here,

Length = 130cm

Breadth= 500mm

Solution:

Converting millimetre to centimetre

$500mm \times \frac{cm}{10mm}$

∵ 1 cm = 10mm

$\frac{500cm}{10} ....(mm \: cancels \: out)$

$50cm$

∴Breadth=50cm

Area of rectangle =

length x breadth

= 130 x 50

=6500cm^2
