The heat of formation  of methane will be 20400 Cal.

Explanation:

=> Formula for this reaction:

CH₄ + 2O₂ ---> CO₂ + 2H₂O

For 2gm CH4 = -26575 cals

For 16gm = -(26575/2)*16= -212600

=> According to the question,The heat of formation of CO₂  and H₂O are -97000 and -68000 Cal  respectively.

∴ ΔHcomb = ΔHf (CO₂) +2ΔHf( H₂O ) - ΔHcomb (CH₄)

=-97000+2(-68000)-(-212600)

=-97000-136000+212600

=-20400 Cal

Thus, The heat of formation  of methane will be 20400 Cal.
