Step 1 :

Make two groups from right to left .

First group = 824

Second group = 13

Step 2 :

First group 824 unit digit is 4 so unit

digit of cube root will be 4.

Step 3 :

Second group 13 it lies between

( 2³ = 8 ) and ( 3³ = 27 ) .

So take the smaller number 2 as ten's

place .

Therefore ,

cube root of 13824 = 24
