1. Ans :- The Narrator Scarcely Got Time To Think Of The Captain because Jim's father had died suddenly on that day. The narrator becomes absent-minded and got lost in his thoughts. The captain was unable to regain and maintain his strength. His temper saw an increment and he became more violent, becoming absentminded

2. Ans :- After the stroke the captain spend his time walking up and down stairs, putting his nose outside to sniff the sea while breathing hard. His temper was more violent, and he drew his cutlass alarmingly keeping it bear on the table
