Step-by-step explanation:

14.  Let us make the Subset first.

[Look that in the picture for both the questions.]

Let A be the event of getting a sum of 7 on throwing 2 dice.

n(A) = (1,6)(2,5)(3,4)(4,3)(5,2)(6,1) = 6

Therefore,

P(A) = Condition that match me / Total no: of: possible outcome

P(A) = n(A) / n(S)

       = 6 / 36.

15.     Let M and Q be the event of getting  a sum of even and odd number respectively...

n(M) =  (1,1)(1,3)(1,5)(2,2)(2,4)(2,6)(3,1)(3,3)(3,5)(4,2)(4,4)(4,6)(5,1)(5,3)(5,5)(6,2)(6,4)(6,6) = 18

Therefore,

P(M) = n(M) / n(S)

       = 18 / 36

NOW,

n(Q)=(1,2)(1,4)(1,6)(2,1)(2,3)(2,5)(3,2)(3,4)(3,6)(4,1)(4,3)(4,5)(5,2)(5,4)(5,6)(6,1)(6,3)(6,5) = 18

Therefore,

P(Q) = n(Q) / n(S)

       = 18 / 36

HOPE IT HELPS...............
