Step-by-step explanation:

let B's share = x

then A's share = (6000+x)

(5280 - 480)/2 = 2400

A's profit = 2880

B's profit = 2400

(6000+x)*4 = 2880

___________ _____

x*5 2400

finding the value of x

x = 12000

A's capital = 12000+6000 = 18000

B's capital = 12000
