Given:-

Dimensions of rectangular shape= 48×36 cm.

Need to Find:-

Volume of the box which have been cut-off to make an open box.

Solution:-

Dimensions of the box will be:-

Length= [48-(8+8)]

=32 cm

Breadth= [36-(8+8)]

=20 cm

Height= 8 cm

Volume of the box

= l×b×h

= 32×20×8

= 5120 cm³
