Our planet earth is considered as a large spherical magnet due to it's gravitational force.

Similarly,a normal magnet has many mesmerizing physical characteristics which we should surely appreciate,such as;

1) The direction property of a magnet is one of the most important features ,a freely hanging magnet always points at the north-south direction with it's two edges.

2) If we flow electricity in a magnetic field ,a mechanical motion will be created in that conducting wire.

This is known as electromagnetism.

3) We can also create artificial magnets with the help of the normal magnets.
