Answer:

The profit percentage is 11.11%

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of coffee and chicory in the mixture is 5:2.

Let the amount of coffee mixed be x kg.

Amount of chicory mixed would be 2x/5 kg.

cost of x kg coffee is Rs 350x.

Cost of 2x/5 kg chicory is Rs 28x.

Total money spent on mixture is 350x+ 28x = 378x.

Total weight of mixture = x+2x/5 = 7x/5 kg

Price of mixture is 7x/5*300 = Rs 420x.

Profit = 420x-378x = 42x.

profit Percentage = (42x/378x )*100 = 11.11%
