Let The cost of 1 chair = Rs x

Apply the unitary method

∵  The cost of 14 chairs = Rs 1592.50

∴ The cost of 1 chair = Rs $\dfrac{1592.50}{14}$

Or                              x  = Rs 113.75

i.e The cost of 1 chair =  x  = Rs 113.75

Hence, The cost of one chair is Rs 113.75  Answer
