Step-by-step explanation:

WE KNOW THAT IN A RIGHT ANGLED TRIANGLE - perpendicular² + base² = hypotenuse²

= DF² + DE² = EF²

= 7² + 24² = EF²

= 49 + 576 = EF²

= 625 = EF² = EF = 625 = 25 cm

Given :

  • A Right Angled Triangle in which ∠D = 90° , DE = 24 cm and DF = 7 cm .

To Find :

  • Measure of EF .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{DE=24\:cm}

\longmapsto\tt{DF=7\:cm}

Using Pythagoras Theroem :

\longmapsto\tt{{(EF)}^{2}={(DE)}^{2}+{(DF)}^{2}}

\longmapsto\tt{{(EF)}^{2}={(24)}^{2}+{(7)}^{2}}

\longmapsto\tt{{(EF)}^{2}=576+49}

\longmapsto\tt{EF=\sqrt{625}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{EF=25\:cm}

So , The Measure of EF is 25 cm .

Option c)25 cm is Correct...
