cx+d =0

p(x) = 5x-3

p(x) = 0

5x-3 = 0

5x = 3

x = 3/5

ii) p(x) = cx + d

p(x) = cx + d

p(x) = 0

cx + d = 0

1x + 2 = 0

x = -2
