14) (i) 11/12 is non terminating 12 is not a multiple of 5

factor of 12 are 3 and 4 but not 5 when the denominator is multiple of 2 and 5 then the given will be terminating.......

(ii) 36/100 is terminating as 100 is the multiple of both 2 and 5

15) (i) a=13 , b=3

a = bq + r

13 = 3q + r

when we divide 13 with 3 the remainder is 4 with quotient 3 so.......

13 = 3(3) + 4

= 9 + 4 = 13

LHS = RHS

(ii) a=80 , b=8

a = bq +r

80 = 8q + r

when we divide 80 with 8 the reminder will be 0 with quotient 10 so.......

80 = 8(10) + 0 = 80

LHS = RHS
