Given : a projectile motion, the angle between the velocity and acceleration is minimum and acute

To Find : correct option

(A) only one point

(B) two points

(C) three points

(D) four points

Solution:

a projectile motion

acceleration  is always downward  ( acceleration due to gravity )

Initially  vertical Velocity is upward

Hence angle between the velocity and acceleration is Obtuse

at Highest point  vertical  velocity becomes  zero

hence angle between the velocity and acceleration is  right angle

After that   vertical Velocity is downward and keep increasing

Hence Hence angle between the velocity and acceleration is acute after that and keep reducing until  it attains max vertical velocity where object hit ground

Hence angle between the velocity and acceleration is minimum and acute  just before hitting the ground .

So only one point

Hence  (A) only one point is correct answer
