In Speed

1.Distance covered by a body in unit time is called speed

2.It is scalar quantity

3.S.I unit=m/s

4.C.G.S unit=cm/s

5.S=d/t

Types of speed are

Uniform speed:- If a body covers equal distancein equal interval of time then the speed is said to be in uniform speed

Non-uniform speed:- If a body covers unequal distance in unequal interval of time then the speed is said to be in Non-uniform speed

In velocity

1.Distance covered by a body in unit time in a fixed direction is called velocity

2.It is vectar quantity

3.S.I unit=m/s

4.C.G.S unit=cm/s

5.v=d/t

Types of velocity

Uniform velocity:- If a body covers equal displacement in equal interval of time then the velocity is said to be in uniform velocitu

Non-uniform velocity:- If a body covers unequal displacement in equal interval of time then the velocity is said to be in Non-uniform velocity
