zero error = +0.05mm, correction= -0.05mm
Zero error is caused when the end of the movable screw is in touch with the stud and the head scale of the gauge does not coincide with the zero pitch scale. this is called zero error
Therefore zero error and zero correction can be calculated as
zero error = +5× 0.01= +0.05mm
zero correction = -0.05mm
