Step-by-step explanation:

(I) the passing marks

i) Maximum marks: 850

Rohits percentage: 34%

marks obtained by Rohit: 34% of 850

= 34/100 × 850 = 289

Rohit failed by 17 marks so

Rohit's marks + 17 = passing marks

289 + 17 = 306

ans: The passing mark is 306.

ii) Minimum passing marks: 306

Minimum passing percentage = 306/850 × 100 = 36%

ans: The minimum passing percentage is 36%.

Hope it helped :)))
