- THE CELL HAS SPECIAL COMPONENTS CALLED ORGANELLES.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF CELL ORGANELL are as the following.
- Endoplasmic reticulum
- Golgi apparatus
- lysosomes
- mitochondria
- plastids
- vacuoles
endoplasmic reticulum - it is large network of membrane - bound tubes and sheets
Golgi apparatus - it consist of a system of membrane-bound vesicles arranged approximately parallel to each other in stacks called cisterns
lysosomes - it is membrane-bound sacs filled with digestive enzymes
mitochondria - it have two membrane coverings. mitochondria are strange organelle in the sense that they have own DNA and ribosomes
plastids - like mitochondria, plastids also have their own DNA and ribosomes
vacuoles - it is storage sacs for solid and liquid contents.
