Answer:

(D) 30 km, South-East

Step-by-step explanation:

As firstly Raj starts heading towards east and walks 12 km then after that he takes a right turn that means he is now moving in south direction and walks another 9 km after that he again takes a left turn that means he is now moving in east direction and covers another 12 km and again takes a right turn i.e. He is moving again in South direction and covers another 9 km.

This journey makes two triangle structure so for calculating its displacement between starting point and ending point will be 30 KM which will be in the South-East direction from his starting point i.e. house.
