14. The perimeter of a square is 64 m. The area of a rectangle is 6 mº less than the area of the
given square. If the length of the rectangle is 25 m, then find its breadth.

perimeter of a squre =4×side

64 =4×x

4x=64

x=64/4=16m

area of square=side×side

=16×16

=256

area of rectangle=256-6

=250

l×b=250

16×b=250

b=250÷16
