(a). Elements A and B are metals ,  element C is a non metal and elements D and E are noble gases as they belong to the group 18 .

(b). The most reactive metal is element A and the most reactive non metal is element C .

(c). Cations will be formed by elements A and B whereas anion will be formed by element C .

(d). (i) E is larger than D .

     (ii) B is larger than C .
