Given:

  • The ratio of cars of two-wheelers in a city is 3:2
  • The total number of cars is 150000 in the city.

To find:

  • The number of two-wheelers in the city.

Let the number of cars be 3x

And let the number of two-wheelers be 2x

As given the number of cars in the city is,

⇒ 3x = 150000

⇒ x = 150000 ÷ 3

[By transporting 3 to RHS]

⇒ x = 50000

Thus,

The value of x is 50000

Now,

The value of two-wheelers in the city is

= 2x

= 2 * 50000

= 100000

Hence,

The number of two-wheelers in the city is 100000.

Answer:

Given :-

  • Ratio of cars and two wheelers = 3:2
  • Total cars = 1,50,000

To Find :-

Numbers of two wheeler

SoluTion :-

Let the ratio be 3x and 2x.

 \tt \: 3x  = 150000

 \tt \: x \:  =  \dfrac{150000}{3}

 \frak {x \:  = 50000}

Now,

Total number of 2 wheeler

 \tt \implies \: 2x = 2(50000)

 \frak \red{two \: wheeler = 100000}

Hence :-

Total 10,0000 are there
