Question:-

  • The sides of a triangle are in the ratio 2 : 3 : 5. If its perimeter is 100 cm, find the length of its each side?

To Find:-

  • Find the sides of triangle.

Solution:-

Let the sides be 2x , 3x , 5x

Now ,

\longrightarrow\sf \: Perimeter_{ ( triangle ) } = 2x + 3x + 5x = 100

\longrightarrow\sf \: Perimeter_{ ( triangle ) } = 10x = 100

\longrightarrow\sf \: Perimeter_{ (triangle ) } = x = \cancel\dfrac { 100 } { 10 }

\longrightarrow\sf \: Perimeter_{ ( triangle ) } =x = 10

Hence ,

  • First side is 2x = 20 cm

  • Second side is 3x = 30 cm

  • Third side is 5x = 50 cm

Given :

  • The sides of a triangle are in the ratio 2:3:5. If its perimeter is 100 cm.

To Find :

  • Length of sides of traingle.

Solution :

Let the sides be 2x ,3x and 5x

  • By using the formula of Perimeter of traingle then we will find the value of x.

  • Then after finding the value of x we will Put the value of x in 2x, 3x and 5x.

Now let's Find

Perimeter of Traingle = a + b + c

➤ 100 = 2x + 3x + 5x

➤ 100 = 10x

➤ x = 100/10

➤ x = 10

_______________

Now, Finding the sides.

✰ 2x = 2 × 10 = 20cm

✰ 3x = 3 × 10 = 30cm

✰ 5x = 5 × 10 = 50cm

_______________

Therefore,

Sides of traingle are 20cm, 30cm, 50cm
