If 14 tiles are required then the area of courtyard is 14X(area of 1 tile) = 14X4dm^2 = 56dm^2

Now if Dimensions of tiles are doubled then area of 1 tile = 4X4dm^2 = 16dm^2

Area of Courtyard was 56dm^2

No of tiles required will 56/16 = 3 and a half tiles.
