Let Marbles Arya get = x

Then , Marbles Purab got = 4.5x

Arya’s marbles + Purab’s Marbles = 385

x + 4.5x = 385

5.5x = 385

x = 385/5.5

Now multiply by 10 ( to avoid decimal division , or you can just divide 385/5.5 to get the answer )

x = 3850/55

Now divide

and the answer is 70

Arya got 70 marbles

Purab got 4.5*x = 4.5*70 = 315 ( For this , you can multiply 45 and 70 and put one decimal point on left , like 45*70 = 3150 , put one decimal dot , it becomes 315.0 = 315)

70 + 315 = 385
