Plants do not excrete urea.

  • Plants excrete Resins and Gums, Water, and Dry Leaves through various excretory mechanisms. Urea is not produced in the body of plants

  • Resins and gums in plants are stored in old xylem vessels, leaves, and barks.

  • Excess water from plants will be eliminated through stomatal pores by the process known as Transpiration.

  • The dried leaves will be fallen off as a result of the process known as abscission which occurs as a result of hormonal actions when the leaves become devoid of moisture or water content.

  • Apart from that, oxygen and carbon dioxide also get eliminated from the plant body through stomata.
