Shah Jahan

The forms of salutation to the ruler indicated the person's status. The highest form of submission was sijda or complete prostration. Under Shah Jahan these rituals were replaced with chahar taslim and Zaminbos (kissing the grounds).

i hope it help you ♥️

Answer:

Shah Jahan introduced the ritual Chahar taslim and zaminbos.

Explanation:

Chahar Taslim Ritual: - This mode of salutation indicated the person’s status and authority.  Chahar Taslim Ritual was introduced by Shah Jahan which begins with the back of the person’s right hand being placed on the ground and raising gently till the person stands erect when he puts the palm of his hand upon the crown of his head. It is done 4 times i.e., Chahar

Zaminbos: - This mode of salutation meant kissing the ground.
