Here's the answer

Given Equation =>

 \sf{-14 + x = 16 - 4x}

Taking 16 to L .H. S and x to the R.H. S

 \sf{- 14 - 16 = - 4x - x}

Simplify the Equation ,

 \sf{ - 30 = - 5x}

Multiplying both sides by ( -1 ) =>

 \sf{- 30 \times( - 1) = - 5x \times ( - 1)}

 \sf{30 = 5x}

Dividing both sides by 5 =>

 \sf{ \frac{30}{5} = \frac{5x}{5} }

 \sf{6 = x}

Therefore , The value of x is 6.

Thanks!!
