The balance reaction of formation of NH3 is as follows:

N2+ 3H2 = 2NH3

Mole of N2= 140 g /28 g/ mole

= 5 mole

Now calculate the number of mole of NH3;

5 Mole N2  *2 Mole NH3 /1 Mole N2

= 10 mole NH3

Amount of NH3 = Number of moles * molar mass

= 10 mole *17 g/ mole

= 170 g NH3
