  • So, to find the amount, we must first find the Simple Interest. To find the Simple Interest, we must use the formula of :

  • Then, we have to add the Principal with the Simple Interest to find the amount.

  • Time = 3 years and 3 months

To find :

  • Amount

Solution :

Time = 3 years or 3 months

That is,

Time = 3 + 3/12 = 36 + 3/12

        = 39/12 months

Now, By using formula to find SI

SI = P ×  R × T / 100

SI = 1425 × 4 × 39 / 12 × 100

SI = 1425 × 1 × 13/4 × 25

SI = 57 × 13 / 4

SI = 741/4

SI = 185.25

Now,  

Amount = SI + Principal

             = 185.25 + 1425

             = Rs1610.25
