Given that 144 cartons of Coke cans and 90 cartons of Pepsi cans are to be stacked in a canteen.

144 = 3 x 3 x 2x 2x 2x 2

90 = 3 x 3 x 2 x 5

H.C.F ( 144 , 90) = 3 x 3 x 2 = 18.

∴ We have 18 number of cartons each stack.
