Explanation:

during adolescence out body focuses on the development of our reproductive system and hence the body growth slows down. During this phase there are the appearances of secondary sexual characters in both male and female.

female:-

enlargement of brest

hair growth all over the body

broadning of hips

menstruation begins

ovary starts to produce eggs

male:-

voice cracks

hips become narrow

testes start to produce sperms

inspite of these developments the body is still not prepared of copulatoty acts. teenage pregnancy can affect the mother's mind as well as the body.

reproduction process

the egg is produces by the ovary->the male sperm fuses with the egg to form zygote(fertilization takes place in oviduct ,also called fallopian tube) ->the zygote gets implanted to the uterine wall->development to embryo->development to foetus->finally the baby is born at the end of 9 months

there is a special disc shaped structure called placenta that connects mother to the developing embryo. there are blood vessels ok the mothers side and villi on the embryo's side.
