Atomic mass of Nitrogen is 14g/mol.

Hi Guys!!

So 14g is equal to 1 mole of Nitrogen atom.

If it Nitrogen molecule or nitrogen gas then

N2 = 28g = 1 mol N2 gas

so 14g N2 gas is 0.5 mol N2 gas!!!

1 mole of a substance = gram molecular mass of that substance

molecular mass of nitrogen (N2) = 28u
Therefore gram molecular mass of nitrogen = 28 gram
1 mole of nitrogen = 28gram
Therefore 14 gram of nitrogen = 1/2 mole i. e. 0.5 mole
