So in this situation, when the quantity of the rice ( in kg ) increases, obviously the cost of the rice will also increase.  Hence, this direct variation.

14kg     =   20kg

₹560     =     y2

By cross multiplying the following equation, we get

14 * y2     =     20 * 560

y2            =      20 * 560

                             14

y2             =      ₹800

Hence, 20kg of rice will cost you ₹800
