Step-by-step explanation:

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  15.02

 =  \frac{1502}{100}

= \frac {1502÷2}{100÷2}

 =  \frac{751}{50}

Information :

After removing point from 15.02 we obtained \frac {1502}{100}.

Then we find hcf of 1502 and 100 and we obtained HCF= 2

And we divided numerator and denominator by 2.

In last we obtained 15.02 in p/q form where p = 751 and q= 50

To find any decimal number in p/q we have to write decimal number in fraction.

15.02

= 1502/100

{ because we removed decimal and there was 2 digits after decimal so 2 zeroes after 1}

now , H.C.F. of 1502 and 100

= 2

now 1502 / 2 = 751

100 / 2 = 50

so , 1502/100 = 751/50

15.02 in rational form is 751 / 50
